Presenting the Garrett Salpeter Podcast Media Kit

Garrett Salpeter is an engineer with a background in neuroscience who set out to change how the human body heals and performs.

While playing college hockey, he suffered an injury that doctors said would require surgery. A chiropractic neurologist introduced him to functional neurology therapy using direct current stimulation, and within weeks he was back on the ice. This experience reshaped how he understood recovery, pain, and the nervous system’s role in performance.

That curiosity became NeuFit, a company built to bridge physics, neurology, and rehabilitation. Its flagship technology, the Neubie, is now used in more than 400 clinics, by 3,300 certified practitioners, 38+ pro sports teams, and 15+ universities.

Garrett’s work lives at the intersection of physics, neurology, and performance science. His mission is to help people understand that the body is not just mechanical. It is electrical. And when you change the signal, you can change everything.

As Garrett says, “The nervous system is the software of the human body. When you update the code, the hardware starts performing in ways that used to seem impossible.”

Get to Know the Man Behind the Journey

  • Garrett Salpeter is redefining the future of recovery, performance, and human adaptability by putting the nervous system at the center of the conversation.

For decades, medicine and performance training have focused on muscles, tissues, and movement patterns, often overlooking the neural control systems that govern them. Garrett’s work challenges that paradigm. By viewing the brain and nerves as the body’s command center, he and his team at NeuFit are uncovering how targeted electrical stimulation and precise movement protocols can dramatically accelerate the body’s natural ability to heal and adapt.

What began as a breakthrough in a single clinic has evolved into a global ecosystem of clinicians, researchers, and performance experts who share one belief: the nervous system is the most powerful lever for human transformation. NeuFit’s education and technology are now used by thousands of practitioners and hundreds of organizations, from rehabilitation centers to elite sports programs.

Under Garrett’s leadership, NeuFit has become a catalyst for a new model of care that merges electrical stimulation, neurological assessment, and motor learning principles to help people heal faster, move better, and perform at higher levels.

His approach represents a shift from treatment to transformation. By teaching practitioners and athletes to communicate directly with the nervous system, Garrett is revealing how adaptation itself can be trained.

His vision is bold yet grounded in science: the body already knows how to heal and grow stronger; the nervous system just needs to be reminded.

  • Garrett Salpeter is an engineer, author, and neuroscience-trained entrepreneur who has spent his life exploring how the nervous system shapes human healing and performance.

A former collegiate hockey player from Chicago, Garrett combined his background in physics, engineering, and neuroscience with a lifelong passion for understanding the limits of human potential. His own recovery from a severe injury during his playing career sparked a realization that changed his life: healing and adaptation begin in the nervous system, not in the muscles alone. That insight became the foundation for his career and his mission.

After earning degrees in engineering and physics and completing graduate studies in neuroscience at the University of Texas at Austin, Garrett set out to apply science in the real world. He opened a small clinic in Austin, where he began experimenting with ways to retrain the nervous system to accelerate healing. That work grew into NeuFit, a company pioneering the use of direct current stimulation and neurophysiological training to help people move, recover, and perform at their best.

Today, Garrett is recognized globally as a thought leader in neuromuscular re-education and the creator of the FDA-cleared Neubie device. He is also the author of The NeuFit Method: Unleash the Power of the Nervous System for Faster Healing and Optimal Performance and host of The NeuFit Undercurrent podcast.

Grounded in science but driven by curiosity, Garrett’s work challenges old models of rehabilitation and performance by showing that the nervous system holds the blueprint for how humans adapt, heal, and grow stronger.

He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife and two daughters. When he’s not leading NeuFit, he’s lifting weights, playing hockey, or exploring new frontiers in neuroscience and human potential.

  • NeuFit’s core mission is to help people rehabilitate and recover naturally by unlocking their body’s healing potential through advanced electrical stimulation therapy.

NeuFit is revolutionizing rehabilitation and performance through cutting-edge direct current (DC) therapy. Founded with a passion for healing and a commitment to innovation, we equip professionals and individuals with the tools to unlock their full recovery and performance potential. At the heart of our mission is the belief that everyone deserves access to advanced care that brings faster, more profound healing.

NeuFit Brand Story

NeuFit isn’t just changing how we recover. It’s redefining what it means to be human.

For generations, we’ve treated the body like a machine: break it, fix it, repeat. We’ve measured recovery in time, distance, and pain tolerance. But real healing doesn’t come from waiting. It comes from reprogramming how the body communicates with itself.

NeuFit believes the future of human performance starts with the nervous system, the body’s operating system. Every movement, every reaction, every adaptation begins there. When you learn to work with that system instead of against it, everything changes. Pain fades. Strength returns. Speed, balance, and focus become something entirely new.

What began as one engineer’s discovery in a small Austin clinic has evolved into a global movement of clinicians, researchers, and athletes unlocking the body’s natural intelligence. Using advanced direct current technology and neurophysiological training, NeuFit helps people heal faster, move better, and expand what they believe is possible.

NeuFit is not about fixing what’s broken. It’s about awakening what’s already there. It proves that the human body is not just mechanical. It is electrical, adaptable, and alive with potential waiting to be switched on.

The next leap in human evolution will not come from harder workouts or smarter wearables.

It will come from mastering the one system that powers them all: the nervous system.

This is NeuFit. The science of what’s possible.

Product Overview

NeuFit is a breakthrough human performance and recovery ecosystem built around the most powerful system in the body, the nervous system.

NeuFit helps people move, heal, and perform better by improving communication between the brain and body. Through its proprietary combination of science, technology, and education, NeuFit empowers clinicians, athletes, and everyday individuals to tap into the body’s control system to accelerate recovery, restore function, and unlock untapped potential.

From stroke survivors regaining movement to elite athletes returning to play, from chronic pain patients finding relief to wellness professionals optimizing performance, NeuFit’s impact reaches across medicine, sports, and human health.

At the center of the ecosystem is the NeuFit Method, a neuroscience-driven approach to re-educating the nervous system. Supporting it is the FDA-cleared Neubie® device, which uses direct current to safely stimulate and retrain neuromuscular pathways. Together, they represent a new model of care that merges rehabilitation, performance, and prevention into one seamless system.

NeuFit serves a diverse community of clinicians, therapists, gym owners, educators, and individuals united by a shared belief that the body is not broken but adaptive. Each program, certification, and partnership is designed to help people reconnect with the intelligence already built into their biology.

NeuFit is not just helping people recover. It is helping them rediscover what the human body is capable of.
